  • Shipping & Delivery

Unless specified, the purchase price does not include packing or shipping. We would, however, be happy to provide you with a packing and/or shipping quote for your purchase prior to or after making a purchase from our online store on your behalf. If you require a shipping quote prior to making an online purchase, please call us at (512) 565-6066 9:00 am to 5pm "central standard time" or send us an e-mail. Due to the nature, size, and destination of certain items, particular large antique pieces, it may take 2-3 days to obtain a quote.

Alternatively, we can provide you with a list of independent shipping companies who may be able to assist you with the shipping. We do not, in any way, endorse or guarantee any shipping companies services, and suggest that you insure all purchased items while in transit. Any and all claims which may arise regarding all aspects of shipping shall be between the customer and you” and the shipping company which is the shipper. We are not a shipping company. Any arrangements or contracts between a customer or made on behalf of a customer with any shipping company is between the customer and the shipping company, the customer acknowledges this fact and unconditionally releases Castle Hill Antiques and or their agents from any liability which may arise. On average the shipping of large antique items are received by the client within 2 to 4 weeks of a received order.Privacy & Security

  • Returns 

    • If you are not pleased with your Castle Hill Antiques purchase, simply contact by email or phone within 3 days of delivery of your item to arrange for its return and a refund of the purchase price, less a restocking fee of 30% per the terms of sale at the time of purchase.
       
    • Castle Hill Antiques will acknowledge your return request within 3 days.
       
    • You will ship the item back to the shop within 3 days of the acknowledgement:
      • The item must be returned via the original carrier, in its original packaging, insured for its purchased price, and must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you with the shop's tags and identifying marks intact.
      • We recommend you use delivery tracking and get a delivery receipt.
      • The buyer pays for return shipping and insurance.

       
    • After the Castle Hill Antiques verifies the returned item is as originally sent, we will issue a full refund within 3 days. For protection of both the Castle Hill Antiques and buyer, when making a refund via personal check or money order to a buyer, Castle Hill Antiques will refund to the buyer in a traceable manner where receipt confirmation can be verified.
       
  • Damaged Item Procedure

    • Please do not return items damaged in shipment, as doing so will void the shipping insurance. 
    • Damage claims can only be made on items shipped with insurance.
    • Castle Hill Antiques requires that all shipments be insured.
    • To begin the process, please contact Castle Hill Antiques and alert them to the damage.
    • Claims should be made through the original shipping agent. Guidelines for insurance claims vary by carrier so please check with the carrier for specific instructions.
    • Be sure to retain all original packaging as well as all pieces of the damaged item, as the shipping agent will request to examine them.
    • In the event that you, the recipient, files the claim, Castle Hill Antiques will provide you with the necessary insurance information.
  • Restocking Fee

    Advanced written authorization is required for all returns. Purchases may be returned, less all shipping and handling fees and are subject to a 30% restock fee. All returned items must be sent to Castle Hill Antiques with all shipping prepaid, fully insured, and the item must be received in it’s original condition by Castle Hill within fifteen days of the original shipping date from Castle Hill Antiques.

  • Layaway Plan

    Castle Hill Antiques Does not have a Layaway Plan.

  • Sales of Items

    All sales made through this web site are made on an “as available” and “as is” basis, unless otherwise specified in writing. All items sold on this web site are antique and or considered used, thus showing normal wear due to age and extent of usage. If you have any questions regarding the availability and/or condition of a certain item, then you should call us at (512) 565-6066, or email us an e-mail prior to making a purchase.
